      Description

      Sound Deadening Solution. The Hushmat Sound Deadening and Insulation Kit; Firewall improves comfort by reducing heat and noise transfer from the engine compartment into the passenger cabin. It is designed for easy peel-and-stick installation directly on the vehicle firewall, providing full coverage to protect occupants from engine heat and road noise. This product enhances your driving experience by improving thermal insulation and decreasing noise intrusion.

      Construction and Appearance. The kit features a proprietary butyl rubber compound laminated with an aluminum foil constraining layer, forming a temperature-resistant, flexible damping material. It is approximately 2.0mm thick, lightweight, and available in black polymer with an aluminum or black backing foil. The product is engineered for durability and heat resistance up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling or special tools. The material adheres easily using its self-adhesive backing, cutting down installation time significantly compared to other products.
