Description
Deep Throaty Performance. The Hooker BlackHeart Aero Chamber Offset/Dual Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Dual Outlets; Stainless is engineered to deliver a distinctive deep and powerful exhaust note that remains consistent over time. Designed for high performance applications, this muffler enhances exhaust flow to improve horsepower and torque while providing an aggressive sound ideal for muscle cars and late model vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from aluminized steel with a stainless steel perforated internal plate, the muffler features a durable 16 gauge case offering resistance to internal rust. Its oval shape with reinforced inlets and outlets includes aerodynamic chambers optimized for maximum exhaust flow and sound control.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using factory hanger mounts; however, new hangers are required and not included. The inlet features a welded flange connection, and the outlets use slip-fit connections, facilitating a secure and precise fit without the need for drilling.
Warranty. Backed by a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1967 through 2002 Firebird models as well as 3rd Gen Camaro/Firebird applications, ensuring compatibility with their exhaust systems for optimal performance and sound quality.
