Description
Authentic High-Performance Air Cleaner Assembly. The Scott Drake Double Hump HiPo Air Cleaner 63-65 is a premium reproduction of the rare 14" air cleaner found on early high-performance Mustang V8 engines. It is designed to maintain an authentic factory look for restorations or clone builds, featuring a unique lid design with locking indents for secure wing-nut attachment.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this air cleaner includes a chrome double hump lid with locking indents. The base has a semi-gloss black finish that matches original equipment and omits the breather port to replicate the factory appearance. The filter element is yellow paper media with a perforated round hole metal screen and an orange gasket to match original specifications.
Installation. Installation is designed to be straightforward and typically requires no drilling. It mounts directly using the standard wing-nut fastening common to early HiPo air cleaner assemblies.
