I was extremely delighted to find these barrel locks for my 1960 Corvette hood cable. Took a few minutes to install and thank goodness I have the old Chevrolet “clutch” driver I used back in the Chevy garage back in the seventies.

Excellent set

Originally purcahsed the OSB set and tried for an afternoon to get them to fit. Retunred them and purchased this set. The fit was near perfect and cut perfectly. Take your time to install and the fit and finish will be as an OEM set.

As advertised

Well package, perfect fit . No instructions and a bit of a job but it fixed my two doors back to no sag and ease of closing .

Needed just one door seal

Most vendors sell them in pairs (including Eckler), but Eckler sold this one singly. I had to buy a cheap pop rivet tool for the 3 rivets needed. Since I already had the door apart to get the Bose speaker amplifier rebuilt, it was the perfect time to also install the door seal. Removal of the old one (with somewhat rusted on clips) was more difficult than installing the new one, whose clips and holes matched up perfectly. I'm getting this Callaway Twin-Turbo if for-sale shape.

Out of my past

I have long considered Chevrolet's 327 chrome valve covers with indented ends as one of there best. I never had an engine with them so I just bought them anyway. Who knows when I may need them. I bought new decals to finish them off.

Inside Door Rod Clip

My old clips were brittle and worn out. I ordered some new ones and these fit perfectly. They appeared to be just like my original ones. Fit good and work great!

Door Lock Bolts

I ordered a pack of door lock bolts as I misplaced mine during the painting process. The new ones fit perfectly and look great!

1985 C4 Hatch Struts with Defroster replacement

The Eckler's struts come with the connectors for the glass defroster....removing the original struts is straight forward using a flat head screw driver for separating each end from the ball swivel. Installation of the new struts is very easy and nearly zero effort to pop onto the ball swivels. One side of my connector needed to be opened to fit over the strut defrost electrical tab. The original plastic electrical connector cover disintegrated but this has nothing to do with the new strut electrical tab. The struts are very strong and move the hatch window with some speed.
