The BluePrint Engines Blackout Reaper Edition Builder Series Big Block Chevy ProSeries 632 C.I. 815 HP Carbureted Crate Engine and 4L80E Automatic Transmission with Black Pulley Kit delivers exceptional power and torque ideal for high-demand performance vehicles. Designed as a complete crate package, it integrates an 815 horsepower engine with a robust 4L80E automatic transmission, providing reliable power delivery. This package is ideal for automotive enthusiasts upgrading their drivetrain with precision-engineered components.
Construction and Appearance. This engine features a high-strength cast iron tall deck block with a 4.600" bore and a 4-bolt main for durability. It includes BluePrint’s aluminum cylinder heads with .300" raised exhaust ports, forged pistons and connecting rods, and a forged crankshaft with a 4.750" stroke. The finish includes a blackout black pulley kit and a satin aluminum single-plane intake manifold, combining performance with a sleek, aggressive look.
Installation. Installation requires moderate experience to accommodate the tall deck block and raised exhaust port design, necessitating verification of exhaust and accessory clearances. Special attention to fitting power steering hoses, alternator wiring, and other components may be needed depending on the vehicle, though drilling is typically not required.
Warranty. This engine comes with a 30-month or 50,000-mile transferable warranty covering parts and labor, providing confidence and support for both professional installers and individual users.
Application. Designed for Big Block GM style applications, this crate engine requires confirmation of fitment due to its .300” raised exhaust ports and .400” increase in deck height. It is not intended for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.
