The Baer SS4+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Comp Yellow Calipers significantly enhances rear axle braking performance by converting drum brakes to a high-performance four-piston disc brake system. This upgrade provides improved stopping power, heat dissipation, and durability, making it ideal for street and performance applications by ensuring better control and safety under demanding driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. The calipers are CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum and finished with a durable powder coat for corrosion resistance. Hard anodized aluminum pistons paired with stainless steel abutments and noise suppression clips deliver long-lasting performance. The included vented, two-piece, slotted and drilled rotors feature zinc plating and billet aluminum hats, combining strength, functionality, and a professional appearance.

      Installation. The kit is designed to fit existing drum brake rear housings that utilize OE Saginaw 10-bolt C-clip drum brake ends. It comes complete with all necessary hardware, stainless braided hoses, parking brake cables, and related components to facilitate installation by automotive enthusiasts and professionals.

      Application. Engineered specifically for 1982-1992 Firebird models equipped with OE Saginaw 10-Bolt C-Clip drum brake housing ends, ensuring precise compatibility with these vehicles’ rear axles and brake housings.
