      Description

      Compact Power Steering Pump. The Type II Alum Power Steering Pump is designed for custom vehicles and street rods that require a compact solution for limited engine space. It provides efficient power steering assistance by circulating fluid under pressure, improving steering performance and driver comfort.

      Construction and Appearance. This pump features an aluminum body with Factory Cast PLUS+ construction, ensuring durability and lightweight performance. It includes billet chrome cap and new hardware, with a finish option that maintains a factory-cast aesthetic suitable for custom builds.

      Installation. Installation requires fitting a press-fit pulley, which is not included, and typical mounting utilizes the M8x1.25 threaded hole for secure attachment. The compact design facilitates installation in tight spaces without the need for extensive modifications.

      Application. This pump is suitable for most gear boxes with a maximum pressure rating of 1200 PSI and flows at 3 gallons per minute, ideal for street rods and custom vehicles where space is at a premium.
