      Side mounts have always been a very popular option for collectors since the earliest days of the hobby. At the Ford factory, when only one side mount spare tire was used, it was normally placed on the driver's side.



      Cars with dual side mounts were uncommon & eventually became desirable for collectors. This both drove up the price & made them a rare find.



      But today, MAC's is proud to offer our steel fender well for easy installation into your steel front fenders, left or right. Now restorers can readily opt for the classic look of dual side mounted spare tires.
