Description
Reinforced Shock Support. The Shock Absorber Mounting Brace, Rear, Upper Shock Tower enhances the structural integrity of the rear shock mounting area, reducing flex and improving suspension performance. It is designed to be welded directly to the top of each rear shock tower, securing the shock assembly firmly in place to ensure reliable handling and durability.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from heavy die-stamped steel, this brace replicates the original production process and features a black EDP coating for corrosion resistance and a clean, finished look. The brace includes two pre-threaded holes that facilitate easy attachment of the shock mounting plate, preserving a factory-correct appearance.
Installation. Installation involves welding the brace to each rear shock tower and should be completed by a qualified metalworker. Thanks to the pre-threaded holes, no drilling is needed, but careful preparation and precise welding are essential for a secure fit.
