Description

High-Performance Headers. These Competition 1-5/8-Inch Headers provide enhanced exhaust flow and decreased back pressure for improved engine efficiency and power output. Designed primarily for racing use, they are engineered to maximize performance gains on Pontiac V8 engines from 1970 to 1974, including applications such as the Firebird, Trans Am, GTO, Le Mans, and Grand Am.

Construction and Appearance. Built from durable 16 gauge mild steel, the headers feature mandrel-bent tubing to maintain consistent diameter and strength throughout bends. The flanges are precisely machined to a thickness of 3/8 inch and include welded O-ring seals for a secure fit. The entire assembly is ceramic coated to provide superior heat resistance and long-lasting durability.

Installation. These headers come complete with all necessary bolts, gaskets, and mounting hardware to facilitate an easier installation process. They are designed for a trouble-free fit on the compatible Pontiac V8 models without the need for extensive modifications.

Application. Specifically engineered to fit Pontiac Firebird V8 models produced from 1970 through 1974.
