Description
Enhanced Wheel Housing. The Detroit Speed Firebird Rear Inner Wheel Housing Tubs, Deep, Detroit Speed & Engineering DSE, 1967-1969, enhance tire clearance for wider wheels and tires. These mini tubs are essential for accommodating larger tire sizes while maintaining a stock-like appearance.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from 18-gauge steel, these mini tubs are stamped with original equipment appearance in mind. The black finish provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface that complements the vehicle's inner fender area.
Installation. Installation requires moderate skill and preparation, including cutting, fitting, drilling, and trimming. The kit includes laser-cut frame rail and trunk closeouts to facilitate the process.
