2002 GM F-Body Pontiac Fourth Generation Firebird Trans Am Collector Edition concluded a 33 year-run of the Firebird. At the top of its game and ending its reign as GM's performance muscle car, a Collector's Special Edition was released. This beautiful stripe kit was OEM factory applied to all 2,390 of these vehicles and kit fits all WS6 Ram Air or non-Ram Air models. This model paced the 2002 Daytona 500 and Jay Leno made it famous. Aside from track and festival cars, no pace car replicas were produced, however, every 2002 Trans Am Collector Edition is considered a Daytona 500 Pace Car.
