Features, Description, Q&A
This bumper brace was used in 1973 to bring the Camaro up to Federal DOT standards of being able to sustain minumum damage in a 2 ½ MPH or less crash. It fits behind the bumper and bolts to the bumper brackets.
NOTE: This will fit an original 1973 Camaro bumper only and currently there is no reproduction of a 73 bumper on the market today. Reproduction bumpers being sold today are actually 70-72 bumpers( 2 bumper bolt holes on top of the bumper on each side). The 1973 bumper has 3 bumper bolt holes on the top of the bumper on each side.
