It keeps the gas pedal from leaving the firewall and is responsible for the gas pedal rods proper functioning. Without properly working gas pedal firewalls support your Camaro’s gas throttle rod will bumper and roll around, causing annoyance and potential harm. In the 1967 support bracket, these nylon bushings are inserted where the rod goes through.
