      Description

      Power Steering Conversion Kit. The Borgeson Power Steering Conversion Kit with a 14:1 ratio offers an advanced integral power steering gearbox designed to upgrade 1966-1977 Ford Broncos. This kit enhances steering by providing a modern steering feel and feedback with a quicker 14:1 ratio for improved responsiveness. It converts the vehicle to power steering while retaining compatibility with the original mounting points and pitman arm.

      Construction and Appearance. The gearbox is assembled and tested in the USA using globally sourced components. It features precision-machined input and pitman shafts with robust spline counts for durability and smooth operation. The components are finished to provide reliable sealing with 14mm top seal O-rings on the pressure and return ports, ensuring a leak-free system.

      Installation. Installation is designed to be straightforward as the conversion box bolts directly to the factory mounting locations and fits the stock pitman arm. A new universal joint is required for connection to the stock steering column, and a new hose kit is needed for connection to the power steering pump of choice. No custom drilling or modifications to the frame are required.

      Warranty. This product comes with a 3-year warranty for peace of mind.

      Application. Specifically engineered to fit 1966-1977 Ford Bronco models without modifications or exclusions.
