Description
The lower door is a common area that rusts out on most vehicles. Salt and road debris are constantly kicked up at them while driving, compromising the exterior. Water seeps through your door’s weatherstripping and pools in the bottom of the door, causing it to rust from the inside out. Panels taking this type of abuse from both sides eventually break down and need to be replaced. If you catch it in time, you can replace the lower door skin, or the lower inner door panel, instead of having to replace the entire door.
