      The lighter retaining bezel nut is one of the hardest items to remove from the dash of your 1970-1981 Firebird and one of the easiest to destroy beyond all recognition if you do not have the proper tool. As an early anti-theft device the lighter bezel nut worked pretty good to keep the lighter in the dash of your Firebird. But, if it ever needed to be removed, most people just grabbed a pair of channel locks and destroyed the bezel. Not a problem with this superior reproduction lighter bezel nut from Eckler’s Firebird.
