      The lighter retaining bezel nut is one of the hardest items to remove from the dash of your 1970-1981 Firebird and one of the easiest to destroy beyond all recognition if you do not have the proper tool. As an early anti-theft device the lighter bezel nut worked pretty good to keep the lighter in the dash of your Firebird.
