UMI's double adjustable lower control arms feature Roto-Joint technology for optimal performance and a smooth ride. These control arms allow for on-car adjustments, enabling the rear end to be moved back or forward to accommodate larger tires. They are recommended for aftermarket rear end installations to center the rear end and prevent tire rubbing. The Roto-Joint pivot ball provides 28 degrees of unrestricted movement, enhancing performance compared to factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. The delrin race surrounding the spherical ball absorbs shock and road noise, ensuring quiet and smooth operation while also improving precision handling.
Constructed from 1-1/4” drawn over mandrel tubing with TIG welded chrome moly threaded tube adapters, these control arms are designed for strength and performance. The threaded ends feature left and right-hand threads for easy on-car adjustments. This control arm set incorporates Roto-Joints on both sides for maximum performance and suspension travel. The Chrome Moly version uses 1.250" x 0.095" 4130 Chrome Moly steel, offering increased strength while reducing weight. All Roto-Joints are greaseable and low maintenance, making them ideal for street setups. UMI's Roto-Joint technology allows for 28 degrees of rotation and unrestricted movement throughout the suspension, designed to prevent suspension bind and improve traction.
Constructed with a 4140 chrome moly spherical ball and a delrin race, the Roto-Joint is adjustable and fully rebuildable for long-lasting performance. The spanner wrench is used for adjusting and disassembling Roto-Joints in UMI Performance products. It can tighten the adjusting ring to apply more pressure to the delrin inside or disassemble the Roto-Joint for cleaning and rebuilding.
