Description
Authentic Performance Upgrade. The Scott Drake Small Block Ford V8 Shelby Aluminum Intake Manifold is an exact reproduction of the original Carroll Shelby manifolds used in mid-1960s Shelbys and Cobras. It improves engine performance by delivering increased power across a broad RPM range, enhancing throttle response while preserving bottom-end torque.
Construction and Appearance. Made from lightweight aluminum, this manifold features cast construction with a satin finish to replicate the original Shelby units. It includes crossover intake runners for balanced airflow and a rear water crossover for improved engine cooling, providing functional performance features while maintaining period-correct styling.
Installation. This manifold is designed for compatibility with 260, 289, and 302 small block Ford engines. Installation may require standard fitting considerations based on individual setups, heads, and accessories.
Application. Fits 260, 289, and 302 small block Ford engines. Compatible vehicle fitment includes various Ford/Mercury models from 1964 through 1973. Note that vehicle-specific fitment depends on individual configurations and should be verified prior to purchase.
