Rear Disc Brake Upgrade. The LEED Brakes Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit, featuring 11.65-inch MaxGrip XDS rotors and black powder-coated calipers, is designed to upgrade the rear braking system on Chevrolet and GMC K1500 trucks by replacing factory 11-inch drum brakes with high-performance disc brakes. This direct bolt-on kit improves braking performance, safety, and heat dissipation, offering enhanced stopping power and reliability for 1988 to 1999 K1500 trucks originally equipped with drum brakes.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The kit includes one-piece mounting brackets allowing caliper orientation in three different positions to help clear suspension and frame components. The rotors are rugged cast iron, drilled, slotted, and coated for increased durability and corrosion resistance.
