Description
Rear Disc Brake Upgrade. The LEED Brakes Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit with MaxGrip XDS Rotors and Black Calipers provides a direct bolt-on solution to upgrade rear drum brakes to disc brakes on compatible Chevrolet and GMC trucks. This kit enhances braking performance and safety by replacing the factory setup with modern, durable, and reliable components.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features 11.5-inch cast iron MaxGrip XDS rotors that are drilled, slotted, and coated for improved heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. The black powder-coated single-piston calipers are cast iron and include a built-in parking brake mechanism. All mounting brackets are zinc coated to resist corrosion and maintain a clean appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a one-piece mounting design permitting brake calipers to be positioned in three different orientations. No drilling is required, providing a practical upgrade option for vehicles with aftermarket suspension or frame modifications.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 88-99 C1500 with 10-Inch Rear Drum Brakes.
