      Description

      Authentic High Performance. The Scott Drake Double Hump HiPo Air Cleaner 63-65 is engineered to replicate the rare 14” air cleaners originally fitted to 260 Sprint and early HiPo 289 V8 engines. It maintains the vintage appearance critical for restorations and clones while providing an OE-style air filtration assembly that supports proper carburetor function.

      Construction and Appearance. This assembly features a distinctive double hump chrome lid with dual indentations to securely lock the wing nut. The base is finished in semi-gloss black and excludes the breather port to match the original design. The air filter element includes yellow media with a round-hole perforated screen and an orange gasket to preserve the authentic 1960s look.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, allowing for an easy swap onto existing carburetor setups. It is designed to fit specified early Ford Mustang V8 engines precisely without modification.

      Application. Intended for early Ford Mustang models equipped with 260/4.3L V8 and 289/4.7L V8 engines. Not compatible with emissions-controlled vehicles from 1966 onward.
