Construction and Appearance. Each caliper includes new stainless steel sleeves and O-ring pistons, combined with high-quality seals, springs, and dust covers. Stainless steel bleeder screws and plugs prevent corrosion, and the entire assembly is finished with long-lasting epoxy paint to protect against wear and environmental damage.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills with no special drilling necessary, as the kit fits existing mounts. The included piston retaining tool, brake hoses, and other hardware simplify the replacement process for a straightforward installation.
Application. This caliper and brake kit is engineered specifically for Corvette models from 1965 through 1982, covering the C2 and C3 generations. Use only compatible brake fluid types (DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1) to maintain manufacturer warranty and ensure proper operation.
