Description
Tired of that sloppy shifter in your Fairlane, Ranchero, Torino, Or Montego? Is your shift lever popping out of park? Maybe your car originally had a 2-speed automatic and you have converted to a 3-speed. No matter what, we now have the solution. This new heavy duty steel reproduction of the original selector insert for 3-speed automatic cars is located in the shift collar. This small piece when worn or broken will cause that loose feel when changing gears. We recommend replacing the shifter arm and shift collar at the same time for a tight new shifter.
If you have upgraded your 2-speed automatic car to a 3-speed automatic this piece perfectly replaces the 2-speed selector and allows you to keep the original column.
