Floor Pan Assembly Overview. The Floor Pan Assembly is an essential replacement part designed to restore the foundation of the vehicle’s interior. It provides structural support for seats, dashboard, and other interior components, ensuring a solid and safe driving experience. This assembly is particularly important in restoration projects or when the original floor pan is damaged or rusted.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from heavy-duty OE quality steel using new tooling, the floor pan assembly offers durability and strength. It comes fully coated with an EDP (e-coat) finish, delivering excellent protection against rust and corrosion to extend service life. The design includes front and rear cab supports, floor reinforcements, and inner rocker panels, all matching original factory specifications.
Installation. Installation is straightforward due to pre-cut holes that simplify alignment and attachment. Moderate automotive skill is recommended, and minor modifications may be necessary for vehicles with big block engines, 4WD systems, or floor shifters.
Application. Engineered for 1967-1972 Chevrolet and GMC C10, C15, C20, C25, C30, and C35 2WD trucks equipped with column shifters, ensuring correct fitment. Trucks with big block engines, 4WD, or floor shifters will require modifications for proper installation.
