Description
High-Performance Intake Manifold. The Edelbrock Intake Manifold Vortec Air Gap Small Block is engineered to enhance the power and efficiency of Chevrolet small-block V8 engines ranging from 262 to 400 cubic inches. It optimizes airflow by keeping the intake runners cooler and denser, improving engine output for street and performance applications.
Aluminum Construction And Satin Finish. Crafted from lightweight aluminum with a satin finish, this manifold features an air-gap design that insulates the intake runners from heat generated by the engine oil. This innovation helps maintain a cooler charge temperature for increased performance and durability.
Straightforward Installation. Installation requires no drilling but involves using the correct gasket set, RTV sealant, and bolt kits to ensure a secure and leak-free fit. Modifications to stock brackets might be necessary to properly mount the throttle bracket. Hardened washers should be used under bolt heads to prevent galling, and intake bolt threads should be sealed to avoid leaks.
12-Month Warranty. This product is backed by a 12-month warranty to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.
Application Specific Fitment. Designed exclusively for Chevrolet Small-Block V8 Vortec engines (262-400 c.i.d.) from 1996 and later. Note that this manifold will not fit under the stock Corvette hood due to height restrictions.
