      Description

      Heavy-Duty Ball Joint Upgrade. The Kryptonite Products Bolt-In Front Upper Ball Joint is a robust replacement designed specifically for heavy-duty GM trucks and SUVs equipped with aftermarket or Kryptonite upper control arms. It enhances suspension articulation and durability, essential for lifting, towing, or off-road use, ensuring improved handling and longevity under extreme driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a forged high-strength housing and a heat-treated chromoly ball stud, this ball joint features a metal-on-metal internal design and powdered-metal races for superior wear resistance. The housing is finished with black e-coat and a gold zinc-plated cap to resist corrosion while providing a professional, rugged look.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with a bolt-in design specifically made for compatible upper control arms, requiring no drilling. Proper torque of 22 lb·ft is necessary, and the use of an impact gun is not recommended to preserve hardware integrity.

      Warranty. This product includes a no fine print lifetime warranty covering manufacturer defects, premature wear, or breakage, providing peace of mind for demanding applications.

      Application. Designed to fit 1988 through 2026 GM heavy-duty trucks and SUVs including C/K 1500, 2500, 3500, Tahoe, Yukon, and Suburban models with aftermarket or Kryptonite upper control arms. Compatibility excludes certain upper control arm kits that are not compatible with bolt-in style ball joints.
