Description
Hydraulic Brake Assist Unit. The Hydraulic Brake Assist Unit enhances braking performance for Corvette C1 models, integrating seamlessly with the Corvette Central Twin Piston Master Cylinder Conversion. It improves brake assist functionality and is compatible with vehicles equipped with power steering pumps on the driver’s side, including those with rack and pinion systems, ensuring better pedal feel and vehicle control.
Durable Construction. This unit features CNC machined T6 billet aluminum adapter plates that provide high strength and precision fitment. The components are designed for reliability and durability under demanding conditions, featuring an adjustable brake pedal rod and overlength hoses with re-usable, re-buildable hose ends for long-lasting use and maintenance convenience.
Installation. Installation requires a firewall extension tube assembly designed specifically for this model to ensure proper fitment and function.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 53-62 Corvette C1 without 4-Wheel Drum Brakes.
