      Description

      Transmission Swap Solution. The G Force Performance TH400 Transmission Swap Crossmember enables installation of a TH400 transmission in your 1959-1964 Chevrolet Impala or Bel Air with the X-frame chassis. It provides a strong, reliable mounting point that facilitates upgrading or replacing your transmission while maintaining proper alignment and support.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable steel, this crossmember features a robust black powder coat finish that resists corrosion and enhances longevity. Precision manufacturing ensures the crossmember meets stringent quality standards for strength and fitment.

      Installation. Installation may require enlarging the frame rail holes with a 1/2” drill bit to accommodate 7/16" hardware. Using new Grade #8 fasteners is recommended if retaining the stock 3/8" hardware to ensure secure mounting.

      Application. Designed specifically for 1959 through 1964 Chevrolet Impala and Bel Air models equipped with X-frame chassis, accommodating TH400 and 2004R transmissions for direct fitment and performance.
