Full Size Chevy Resistor, Heater Blower Motor, 1958-1972

Having trouble getting hot air out of your full size Chevys heater system other than on high speed? Most likely your blower motor resistor has gone bad. This little fiberglass board uses a series of progressive resistors to regulate the motors speed throughout the switch range. The highest speed of the heater blower motor is not controlled by the resistor; so when the resistor fails, the fan will often work on the highest speed setting and not the lower speeds.
