      Description

      This Chevy firewall insulation pad is a reproduction of the original firewall and dash pad that covers the entire inner firewall. Original pads often harden, crack and fall apart; significantly reducing their heat and sound insulation capabilities. The original Chevy pads can even become a fire hazard; so be sure to inspect yours and replace if necessary. Be sure to make this decision early in the restoration process, as this pad is the first item to install under your dash before wiring, gauges, heater, etc…The new pad is manufactured and shipped flat, so some shaping is required to fit the firewall. All of the heater, wiring, hood hinge, steering column and fastener holes are pre-punched for easy installation. These punch-outs may be left intact if you car is not equipped with a heater o
