It is ideal for use on street rods, muscle cars, trucks, and street/strip vehicles where moderate noise and effective sound reduction inside the vehicle cabin are desired.
Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and features a high-temperature painted finish that resists corrosion and wear. The chambered design incorporates Flowmaster's patented Delta Flow technology with an internal tuning chamber to reduce interior resonance, providing both functional and aesthetic performance benefits.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections designed for clamp-on or weld-on methods. It requires new hangers, which are not included, and may need minor adaptation for universal fit. No drilling is typically required for mounting.
