Description
Product Overview. The Edelbrock 9267 Dual Quad Insulator Kit 2 is designed to prevent fuel percolation caused by extreme under hood temperatures. This heat insulator gasket kit improves carburetor performance by creating a thermal barrier that protects it from manifold heat, ensuring consistent fuel delivery and engine efficiency. It is specifically used with dual quad Performer and Thunder Series carburetors.

Constructed from durable nitrile rubber composite, the gasket set features a square bore design with a 0.125-inch thickness, providing effective heat insulation. The material offers resilience under high temperature exposure while maintaining an effective seal. The gasket has eight mounting holes with 0.35-inch diameter for secure attachment.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires removal of carburetors and replacement of the original base gaskets with the heat insulator gaskets directly against the manifold. The process is straightforward with no drilling required; however, care must be taken to check air cleaner-to-hood clearance due to the increased gasket height.
