      Description

      High-Performance Intake. The Edelbrock Rectangular Port RPM Air-Gap Manifold-Big Block is engineered for street and competition use on 396-502 c.i.d. Chevrolet V8 engines with high-performance rectangular-port heads. It enhances engine performance by keeping the air/fuel mixture cooler, resulting in a denser charge and increased horsepower, especially at higher RPM levels up to 6500.

      Construction and Appearance. This intake manifold is crafted from aluminum with a natural satin finish, offering a classic and durable look. It is cast and machined in the USA to ensure premium quality and precise fitment for high-performance engines.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. To ensure a proper seal, use RTV sealant on the end seals instead of end seal gaskets, and always use hardened washers with intake bolts to prevent galling of the aluminum.

      Warranty. This manifold comes with a 12-month warranty, reflecting confidence in its durability and performance.

      Application. Designed specifically for Chevrolet Big-Block Mark IV engines ranging from 396 to 502 cubic inches. Note that it will not fit under the stock hood of Corvette, 1964-67 Chevelle, or 1967-81 Camaro models.
