Description
1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953 and 1954 Chevys were originally equipped with a specially designed battery hold down system. This system holds the battery in place and prevents vibration which can shorten battery life. These battery retainer spacers fit between the battery and the hold down bracket. They allow the hold down bracket to be tightened without damaging your battery. Without battery retainer spacers, your battery hold down bracket can actually crack your battery and cause battery failure.
