Description
The valve covers gaskets on your 1949-1954 Chevy can deteriorate due to time. That is why Eckler's Early Chevy offers these Ultr-Seal material provides a positive seal through controlled swelling of the gasket once exposed to hot engine oil. The polymers used in Ultra-20 also insure gaskets will not harden and fall apart like cork gaskets. Gaskets are coated with any easy release material which helps prevent tearing when the valve covers are removed.
