The steering box is mounted on the outside of the frame and this universal joint allows you to connect the column to the box properly. Made from high quality steel this will make sure your 1955 1956 1957 1958 1959 Chevy Truck will be steering smooth and your ride quality is it's absolute best. Always trust Eckler's Classic Chevy Truck for all your restoration needs!
NOTE: The original column will need to be flattened on each side for this universal joint to be installed.
