Description
Coolant Temperature Monitoring. The Mr. Gasket Thermocap - 16 PSI is a radiator cap featuring a built-in calibrated thermometer that clearly displays coolant temperature. This crucial information helps you avoid burns from hot coolant or steam by indicating when it’s safe to remove the cap.
Construction and Appearance. Finished in silver for a clean underhood look, the cap includes color-coded temperature ranges with both Fahrenheit and centigrade readings. An integrated coolant reclamation valve is designed to work smoothly with coolant recovery systems.
Installation. Installation is simple and requires no special tools or modifications. This cap replaces the existing radiator cap and fits standard radiator necks for most 1955-1993 AMC, GM, Ford, Jeep, and Chrysler radiators designed for 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines.
Warranty. Comes with a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty.
