Professional Automotive Sound Deadening. The HushMat Door Kit – Automotive Thermal Insulation & Sound Deadening (10 Sq Ft, Silver Foil) is designed to enhance your vehicle by significantly reducing road noise, vibration, and heat transfer through the doors. This easy-to-install solution provides a quieter, cooler interior environment and improves audio system performance by minimizing sound interference. Its peel-and-stick design requires no tools or surface prep, making it convenient for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Construction and Appearance. The kit includes ten sheets of 12" x 12" material composed of a 1.5 mm thick viscoelastic butyl rubber compound bonded to a silver aluminum foil backing. This combination offers excellent vibration damping, thermal insulation, and corrosion resistance. The sheets are lightweight, flexible, and feature a self-adhesive peel-and-stick backing for secure application on metal, plastic, fiberglass, and coated surfaces.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools or cleaning solvents.
