The BluePrint Engines Small Block Chevy 383 C.I. 436 HP Base Dressed Carbureted Crate Engine delivers a powerful 436 horsepower and 443 lb-ft torque, ideal for enhancing performance in GM small block vehicles. Designed to provide reliable power with upgraded components, it’s perfect for enthusiasts looking to boost engine output and efficiency.

      Construction and Appearance. This engine features a high-strength cast iron block built and machined in the USA, paired with BluePrint's aluminum cylinder heads for weight savings and improved heat dissipation. It includes a satin aluminum dual plane intake manifold and a Holley 750 cfm carburetor with manual choke, all finished with chrome valve covers and a painted oil pan for a clean, professional look.

      Installation. The engine is designed for straightforward installation with drilled and tapped provisions for clutch linkage and mechanical fuel pump. No additional drilling is typically required, making it suitable for professional and experienced home installers.

      Warranty. This engine comes with an industry-leading transferable warranty lasting 30 months or 50,000 miles for parts and labor, providing peace of mind for both individual and professional installations.

      Application. This crate engine fits GM small block applications featuring a true 4.000-inch bore and 3.75-inch stroke. It is not compatible with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems, and the aftermarket intake manifold may not fit with OEM accessory brackets due to a raised port design.
