Description
Vapor canister purge solenoids control the flow of vapors from the EVAP system to the intake manifold. Normally open, they are pulse-modulated by the control module to precisely control the flow of fuel vapor to the engine. The solenoids can also be opened during some portions of the EVAP testing, allowing engine vacuum to enter the EVAP system. Replacing a malfunctioning vent valve will help smooth out your ride and keep you vehicle running efficiently.
