Description
Cat-Back Exhaust System. The Flowmaster AT Cat Back 1500, Alum, 96-99 enhances exhaust flow and sound for improved vehicle performance. It provides a balanced aggressive exterior tone while maintaining moderate interior sound levels, making it suitable for daily driving and towing. This system replaces the factory exhaust from the catalytic converter back for a seamless upgrade in both performance and style.
Construction and Appearance. Built with heavy 16-gauge mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, this system ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The 70 Series Big Block II performance muffler features a black high-temperature paint finish and an oval aluminized steel body. The dual polished 3.00-inch stainless steel exhaust tips have a rolled edge angled cut, adding a refined, professional appearance to the rear of the vehicle.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and can be completed at home using the included hangers, hardware, and instructions. The system uses factory hanger locations and requires no cutting or drilling, allowing for a quick, hassle-free setup.
