      Description

      Powerful Brake Upgrade. The Scott Drake 1964-66 Power Disc Brake Conversion with Auto Trans kit allows Mustang owners to upgrade their manual front drum brakes to true factory-style 4-piston power disc brakes. This enhancement improves stopping performance and safety while maintaining an authentic factory appearance. Designed for ease of use, this system bolsters braking reliability for daily driving or spirited use.

      Construction and Appearance. This kit features zinc-plated calipers outfitted with durable stainless steel pistons and lightweight aluminum caliper brackets. All components are finished to resist corrosion, preserving both function and the factory look. The kit also includes vented rotors for enhanced heat dissipation during braking.

      Installation. The conversion kit provides a bolt-on installation that requires no cutting, drilling, or welding, simplifying the upgrade process. This straightforward setup ensures a clean fit using the original V8 drum brake spindles.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1964 through 1966 Mustangs equipped with automatic transmissions. Note that the minimum wheel size required for proper clearance is 14 inches in diameter by 7 inches wide.
