Description
Performance Enhancing Header. The Tri Y Headers-ceramic Coated are designed to increase mid-range torque without sacrificing top-end power. Suitable for vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, these headers optimize power delivery from idle to 4500 RPM while maintaining fuel efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge steel tubing with CNC mandrel bends for precise fit and improved exhaust flow, these headers feature a metallic ceramic coating that reduces under-hood temperatures and enhances corrosion resistance. The finish is a high-luster semi-gloss silver.
Installation. Installation is facilitated by three-eighths inch thick machined flanges that help prevent warping. While hardware and gasket are included for a complete setup, vehicles with air injection heads may require minor grinding of the header flange to ensure proper fit. No drilling is stated or required.
Application. Engineered specifically for 1962–65 Ford Falcon, Ranchero, and Mercury Comet models with small block V8 engines and automatic transmissions. Compatible with AOD transmissions but does not fit C-6 transmissions or GT40 "P" heads. Vehicles with air injection heads will need flange grinding for fitment.
