Description
Hood Hinge Spring Replacement. The Scott Drake Hood Hinge Spring provides the correct tension and support for raising and holding open the hood on classic Mustangs. This direct-fit replacement ensures the hood operates smoothly and safely without sagging or unexpected closure, maintaining proper hood function and a well-maintained engine compartment.

Installation. The spring installs easily with no drilling required, fitting directly onto stock steel hood hinge mounts. Basic mechanical knowledge and common hand tools are sufficient for replacing the original spring.
Application. Specifically engineered for Mustangs from 1964 through 1970 equipped with steel hoods. Not compatible with fiberglass hoods.
