      Description

      Compact Performance. The RetroSound Shallow-Mount Subwoofer 4-ohm is designed to deliver powerful bass in vehicles where space is limited. Its ultra-thin 8-inch design enables installation in tight areas, making it ideal for classic cars and trucks seeking modern audio enhancements without sacrificing space.

      Construction and Appearance. This subwoofer features a rigid cast aluminum basket for structural stability and durability. It is equipped with a polypropylene cone and a Santoprene® surround that produce smooth and natural audio reproduction. The unit is driven by a neodymium magnet for precise sound output, and the voice coil uses a Kapton® former to maintain consistent performance under heavy load.

      Installation. Installation is facilitated by the shallow 2-inch mounting depth, accommodating tight spaces and custom enclosures. It typically requires some adaptation or drilling depending on the vehicle's setup.
