Adjustable Ride Control. The Rancho RS9000XL Front Shock provides advanced manual adjustability with nine firmness settings. This allows drivers to fine-tune their ride quality for both on-road comfort and off-road performance. The shock absorber is engineered to maintain consistent control under various driving and towing conditions, improving vehicle stability and handling.
Construction and Appearance. Built with a durable 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod and a 1.25-inch sintered iron piston, this shock delivers superior strength and corrosion resistance. Its tri-tube body design contains all-weather fluid that maintains optimal performance across extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F. The shock features a premium liquid metallic silver finish combined with a protective polyvinyl boot for enhanced durability.
Installation. Installation is generally straightforward for experienced mechanics and typically does not require drilling. Some vehicle models may require slight grinding of the lower control arm to ensure proper fitment.
