      Description

      Premium Performance Headers. The Flowtech Shorty Headers, Ceramic, for 289/302/351W small block Ford engines are engineered to optimize exhaust flow and enhance engine performance by improving throttle response and broadening the torque curve. These headers replace restrictive factory manifolds and aid better exhaust scavenging for racing use only vehicles.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from mild steel with heavy-duty tubing and high-quality welds, these headers feature mandrel-bent 1-5/8” primary tubes for consistent diameter and smooth transitions. The silver metallic ceramic coating helps increase exhaust velocity, reduce underhood temperatures, and provides a durable, attractive finish.

      Installation. Installation includes premium aluminum gaskets and hardware and is designed for direct bolt-on fitment to compatible engines. These headers accommodate vehicles with lowered suspension and tight clearance requirements. No modifications to the vehicle are typically needed; however, compatibility with some aftermarket components such as Dart Windsor heads and C6 transmissions is not supported.

      Application. Designed to fit a wide range of small block Ford V8 applications from 1964 to 1973, including but not limited to 66-69 Comet and 66-70 Falcon models equipped with 289, 302, and 351W engines. Note this product is not compatible with Dart Windsor heads or C6 transmission applications. Intended for racing use only vehicles and not CARB exempt.
