Edelbrock Part # 2975-CP Chrome Plasma Victor Jr. intake manifold is excellent for many applications from drag to circle track racing. This intake manifold provides maximum performance for engines with standard port location, iron and aluminum cylinder heads. The low-profile of the #2975 works well in applications with minimal hood clearance and where 1" or 2" spacers can be used for performance tuning. When carb spacers are not allowed, the #2999 should be used. The Edelbrock Victor Jr. #2975 is a single-plane, high-rise intake designed for maximum race-winning power at higher engine speeds.

Installation NotesRecommended intake gasket: Edelbrock # 71 or Fel-Pro # 1206.No provisions for exhaust heated chokes or EGR.Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.Optimum cylinder head port opening size should be as close as possible to the size of the gasket being used.Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal, Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used.
