Edelbrock part #2703-CP Performer EPS intake manifold is for 86 and earlier 262-400 cubic-inch Chevys. Design is optimized for Edelbrock EPS or AVS2 carburetors, although any 4150 style carburetor will fit. This intake manifold combines a modern runner design with a front mounted oil fill tube. The included manifold mounted oil fill tube and breather make it easy to add oil and allows the use of our breatherless Classic valve covers. The PN 2703-CP has a runner design that's tuned for peak torque at 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine making it ideal for power from off-idle to 5500 rpm. Dyno tests showed gains of 5 hp and 9 ft-lbs. of torque over the Edelbrock Performer manifold #2101 on a 350 Chevy. This Chrome Plasma version comes with a brilliant bright finish that is durable and easy to maintain.** Will not fit under stock Corvette hood! **

Installation Notes: Manifold ht: A-3.74", B-4.80"; Carb pad height: 4.27"; Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 500-650 cfm; Port exit dimensions: 1.15" x 1.87".; Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #71.; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.; NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread. Edelbrock #8504 intake manifold bolt kit which includes hardened washers to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum is highly recommended. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.
